B(u)yOil is a project about consumption and our life´s dependence on the non renewable resource oil. After discovery of oil, which become most important resource for industrial in last century. Our civilization runs on oil, until the present, oil have been used as a transportation fuel and raw material for manufacturing, today oil its use in more widespread, yet a lot of people are unaware of almost all products are derived from oil and some are totally dependence on it. In the last years, as oil consumption increase and new oil discoveries have been decrease, we have been facing scarcity of resource and another problems that oil bring to us. Since mass production begin in the nineteenth century, we have been lived and surrounded by all kind of objects around our life, and the ideology of consumption and growth changed our behavior and relationship with objects. For the major market, objects were using design as a tool to make them become more attractive to be consumed by consumers, and design become more important in producing "wanted" products rater than "needed" products, design was used to create desire or imaginary value with the object, to seduce or obligate consumer make consume unconsciously.
